Terms of Service

Last updated: April 26, 2026

These terms govern your use of products listed at alveyautomation.com/tools ("Alvey Tools") and any download, marketplace install, or open-source package linked from this site. By using a product you agree to these terms.

Who we are

Alvey Tools is a sub-brand of Alvey Automation, operated by Brett Alvey. Contact: [email protected].

License

Open-source MCP servers and the runnable code shipped with paid downloads are MIT-licensed unless explicitly noted otherwise. You may use them in commercial projects, modify them, and redistribute them subject to the MIT terms.

The PDF documentation included with the methodology pack is licensed for the purchaser's individual use. Please don't redistribute the PDF.

Subscription apps

Marketplace apps (QuickBooks, Shopify, Stripe) are billed on a monthly recurring basis through the respective marketplace's billing system. You can cancel at any time from the marketplace's app management UI. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months on subscription apps, but if a subscription app fails to deliver value in your first 30 days we'll refund your most recent charge — email [email protected].

One-time downloads

Refund windows for one-time downloads vary by product:

Email [email protected] within the relevant window for a no-friction refund. Refunds are processed through Gumroad and typically appear within 3-5 business days.

No warranty

All products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While every product on this site has been tested in production, you are responsible for evaluating fitness for your own use case before relying on a product for business-critical work.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alvey Automation's total liability arising out of or related to your use of any product is limited to the amount you paid for that product in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Acceptable use

Don't use these products to break the law, harm others, or infringe anyone's rights. Don't attempt to circumvent security controls on the hosted apps. Don't redistribute the PDF documentation. Don't impersonate Alvey Automation in derivative work.

Termination

We may terminate access to subscription apps if you violate these terms. We will not retroactively revoke MIT-licensed downloads — once you have a copy under MIT, that license stands.

Changes

We may update these terms as products evolve. Material changes will be announced via product update emails to existing customers. Your continued use of a product after changes constitutes acceptance.
